"Blue Sky Coup is a nice bay roan daughter of Blue Try, a son of Plenty Try that Chip Merritt raised out of a daughter of Plenty Coup. She is out of Sky Coup, a blue roan mare that died here a few years ago foaling. Both of Blue Sky Coup's parents are by Plenty Try. Plenty Try (and Plenty Dividend) mares are real producers. They put a lot of athleticism and speed in their colts. Some of them need a little more size and bone to make good using horses and that's is where Apache and Crowheart Roan enter the picture. We have raised a number to studs by Apache out of Plenty Try and Plenty Dividend daughters. Blue Sky Coup is 25% BV and 15.63% TBB.
